Chip and Application Personalisation
The card personalisation data produced by host system applications like card management systems needs to be enriched, transformed and encrypted before it can be used to personalise a smart card’s/token’s chip and the related application(s). The Data Preparation Module of Aconite’s Affina Enterprise product provides this functionality.
The personalisation data is recorded and retained in Affina Enterprise’s database and is available for inquiry purposes and to facilitate reissue of lost, stolen and damaged cards/tokens and the renewal of expiring cards/tokens.
In addition, Affina Enterprise can provide life-cycle management for cards/tokens, chips and applications; manage multiple applications and multiple application owners per chip; and post-issuance management of applications.
