Affina Enterprise

Affina Enterprise manages the complete life-cycle of smart cards and tokens and their applications, from data preparation and personalisation of the chip and application to post-issuance updates. The main features of Affina Enterprise are:

• Card Import: Affina Enterprise can import and then manage cards produced by other systems.
• Data Preparation: Affina Enterprise processes requests for cards, resulting in the production of personalisation data ready to be written to a card.
• Life-cycle Management: Affina Enterprise maintains a database which includes the details of each card that has ever been produced (personalisation data used, applications personalised, chip used, etc.), the details of each version of each application that can be produced and the details of each chip that can be or has been used (e.g. Chip type, RAM size).
• Multi-application Management: With Affina Enterprise, you can manage multiple applications on a card, combining, for example, identity, access control and payments functions. These applications can be from multiple organisations, say a bank card issuer’s EMV, application, a public transit company’s ticketing application and a retailer’s loyalty application.
• Post-Issuance: Affina Enterprise has the ability to add, upgrade or delete applications on cards that have been issued.
