Aconite Speaking and Exhibiting at Cards Middle East 2011

Aconite, a leading provider of software and consulting services for managing business applications on chips in smart cards, tokens and mobiles, today announced that Senior Consultant Caroline Walpole will be speaking at Cards Middle East 2011 on the theme of “Benefits of Prepaid on the Mobile Platform”. Caroline will also be available to meet attendees on Aconite’s stand at the associated exhibition.
The banking sector in the Middle East has been migrating towards a comprehensive EMV based infrastructure for a number of years. In particular, Saudi Arabia has been transitioning both scheme based and the domestic debit product, SPAN2 involving the migration of 10+ million cards. Aconite has been assisting both the schemes and the banks with this migration from the outset providing a range of Consultancy and training workshops and in a number of cases overall Programme Management.
A number of banks in the region have also deployed Aconite’s Affina Enterprise solution for EMV Token management and the award winning Smart EMV Manager solutions to provide comprehensive support for managing and validating EMV Data, scripting and risk profiling for Debit, Credit and Prepaid cards.
