Aconite Appoints Cathy Bracewell as Global Accounts Manager
London, 22nd February 2010
22 February 2010 Aconite, a leading provider of software and consulting services for managing business applications on chips in smart cards, tokens or mobiles, today announced that Cathy Bracewell has joined the company in the newly created position of Global Accounts Manager.
Patrick Regester, VP of Marketing and Sales at Aconite, said "Cathy's appointment results from our success in winning a global contract with one of the giants of the IT business. It also reflects our desire to give this relationship the focus and attention that it merits, to ensure that it is truly successful for both our client and Aconite. Aconite's products were selected as strategic solutions and are now being deployed at the first regional data centre in Asia. As well as installing Aconite solutions in their own data centres, our client will act as a reseller of our products to its own customers who wish to run their systems in-house."
Cathy comes to Aconite from ACI Worldwide, a leading payments software vendor supplying the banking market, where she has had a long and successful career. Over that time, Cathy has developed particular knowledge of retail and wholesale payments, risk and fraud systems. Starting out as a programmer, Cathy moved to ACI's headquarters in Nebraska before returning to EMEA where she has held positions in product management, channel management and, for the past several years, sales as a senior account manager with responsibility for key strategic accounts.
