ACONITE AND OPENGATE SIGN PARTNERSHIP

Card issuers will benefit from one-stop shop for EMV migration and smart card solutions
London, January 16th, 2008 - Aconite, the leading provider of EMV and smart card software solutions and professional services, and Opengate (previously Intelliform) a South African based company focused on the supply of card products and managed services to the local payments industry, have teamed up to provide rapid and cost effective EMV compliance and chip based pre-paid applications for card issuers.
The integration of Aconite's EMV Transaction Enabler and EMV Script Processor with best of breed card management systems supplied by Opengate will enable issuers to process EMV transactions and dynamically manage a card holders' credit risk through advanced post-issuance scripting.
In addition Aconite's Smart Prepaid application enables an organization to rapidly deploy issuing and acquiring capabilities in the low value pre-payment space using contactless chip cards in markets such as transport and retail.
