Aconite adds further international consulting and sales expertise to meet market demand

Smart card experts from South Africa’s Standard Bank and Nedbank join Aconite’s consulting practice and a Regional Sales Manager is appointed for Central and Eastern Europe
London, 1st October, 2008: Aconite, a leading provider of software and consulting services for managing business applications on chips in smart cards, tokens or mobiles, today welcomed Nealle Page from Standard Bank South Africa (SBSA), Vanessa Wands from Nedbank and Craig Lawrance from GoldenGate Software Inc.
Nealle joins Aconite as a Business Consultant and brings a wealth of chip card experience to Aconite. Most recently, Nealle was the chip card Subject Matter Expert at SBSA, and prior to that worked in Chip Payments Solutions at VISA CEMEA. He has had direct involvement in a bank’s EMV migration, and also provided technical consultancy and support to VISA CEMEA member banks in their migration projects.
Vanessa joins Aconite as a Senior Consultant. In her previous role with Nedbank, also in South Africa, Vanessa headed up the Card Innovation team. She brings with her 20 years experience of South African banking innovation, including chip card projects over the last 9 years with both Nedbank and SBSA.
Craig joins Aconite as a Regional Sales Manager from GoldenGate Software Inc. and previously ACI, where he was responsible for direct and indirect sales in Central and Eastern Europe.
