Challenge: To add EMV transaction processing capabilities to TNS' existing heavily customised transaction processing infrastructure, to allow TNS customers to become EMV compliant and to participate fully in the UK's Chip and PIN programme.

Results: Seamless transition to EMV transaction processing and PIN management capabilities with minimum business-as-usual disruption.

Hutchison DBS Card Ltd - EMV Migration
Client: Hutchison DBS Card Ltd (HDBS)
Challenge: To manage the migration of the entire Compass VISA scheme to EMV, coupled with the replacement of the obsolescent loyalty programme with a new featurerich loyalty solution from a third-party vendor. Of prime importance would be a seamless transition from old to new programmes with zero disruption to business-as-usual operations.
Solution: Assignment of an Aconite Programme Management team comprising an overall Programme Manager and an EMV Payments Project Manager who would also fulfil the roles of EMV Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Implementation Manager. A third Aconite consultant was also engaged in the early stages of the project to develop a Test Strategy.
Results: Successful implementation of the new programme in June 2006, following an extensive staff pilot, meeting and exceeding the customer's expectations for smooth transition, with total cardbase replacement by early 2007.

Leumi Card EMV Migration
Client: Leumi Card
Challenge: To add EMV transaction processing capability to the existing VisionPLUS credit card host system. Achieve this cost-effectively, within tight timescales, without replacement of the legacy system and ensuring minimal impact on business processes.
Solution: Aconite's EMV FastTrack™ packaged migration solution.
Results: Seamless introduction of EMV capability to Leumi Card's issuing business followed by Visa certification and a successful mass production started in July 2006.
